Sarah Gilleland // Maternity Session

In honor of Mothers Day, I wanted to share this maternity session of my cousin Sarah and her husband Eric. They are expecting their first baby in June, so of course I had to capture their journey into parenthood.   

We decided to begin the session at the Botanical Gardens in Palos Verdes. Since it was spring, we wanted to take advantage of the flowers and greenery that the gardens had to offer. It turned out to be an absolutely beautiful location and had so many amazing places to shoot. We didn't even get to see all of the gardens, in was such a huge place. We had so much fun and Eric was sure to mess around in a few photos to make Sarah and I laugh. 

After the Botanical Gardens, we went back to my aunt’s house to take some gorgeous shots of Sarah. It was the perfect session that screamed all the things “baby girl"...beautiful light, blush colors, lace, sweet florals, and a new mother's love. I am completely obsessed with these photos!

It makes my heart happy being able to capture these moments for the people I love the most in my life. I will treasure these moments forever. Our family is beyond excited to meet Sarah and Eric’s sweet baby girl.
