Dear Sarah + Steve // Joshua Tree, CA

Oh, where do I even start with these two? Sarah and Steve officially met during SAT class. Sarah had a huge crush on Steve but never said anything in fear of rejection. Apparently, Steve was a huge nerd in High School anyways and was only interested in his grades so he never showed any interest. As it turns out, Steve DID have a crush on Sarah. However, their love story didn’t start there. They just became friends and kept in touch all throughout college. Eventually they ended up reconnecting after college and the rest is history. Their relationship was somewhat of a “long distance” . Sarah lived up in LA and Steve was living in Orange County. After work Steve would spend 3 hours in traffic driving up to LA so he could see Sarah a few times during the week. He would meet her for dinner and then leave the same evening and head back to Orange County. That is about 5 hours a day of driving. If that’s not love I don’t know what is.

About their engagement session…..

I had been wanting do to an engagement session in Joshua Tree for a while. During my meeting with Sarah and Steve, she had mentioned her dream location for an engagement session was Joshua Tree. So it was meant to be! We drove up together and bonded during the drive. I knew immediately how much fun it would be working with Sarah and Steve.

Of course they nailed their engagement session while surviving heat and running away from all the bees. I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing couple to adventure with. They’re so in love and kind to one another… it was easy to capture these real, adventurous, and romantic photos of them.

Steve and Sarah are getting married on August 8, 2020 at Forever and Always Ranch in Murrieta, CA . I am so beyond excited to have met these two and I CANNOT wait for their wedding day. They’re beautiful on the inside and out and I know they will be lifetime clients and friends.
